Shareka Eldridge, LPC
Shareka Eldridge is a person centered; trauma-informed Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is the founder and a practicing practitioner of LegaCEE Counseling and Consulting which was founded in October 2019. Within her career, Shareka has worked in a variety of settings providing mental health services to primarily adolescents and young adults to include corrections, medical, academia, community and within several local and state government agencies. Due to the array of settings, Shareka has been introduced to and provided services to various clientele and families of multiple origins and make up. With this experience, she gained insight into how minority families are often overlooked and/or misdiagnosed within mental health. Shareka is a proud member of the National Association of Black Counselors where she is the national lead for the Mentorship Program and is a member of the Virginia Counseling Association. As a member of both entities and within her practice, she strives to educate and foster connection within minority families and communities and to allow those who are often voiceless, to have a voice with an emphasis on trauma healing. She was voted one of Richmond’s Best Therapist by onlinetherapy.com both in 2022 and 2023 and has been allowed the opportunity to mentor many.
