Sarah Beaverson is a third-year medical student at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Before medical school, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Global Health from Duke University. She is one of the Research Co-Chairs of the VCU Students Fighting Human Trafficking group. She is interested in family medicine and women's reproductive health, and passionate about racial health equity and community health. Her research interests have focused on Human Trafficking educational trainings for health care workers, as well as community HPV screening initiatives.
