Patty Bennett, MA
Patty is an Empowerment Coach and business owner of Kardia Connection. She is an award-winning entrepreneur and labor trafficking subject matter expert on her lived experience. Patty has trained individuals, organizations, coalitions, communities and government officials. Patty is a member of Advisory Boards bringing her expertise and voice to help expand on trainings, prevention, identification and services to labor trafficking survivors. Patty has shared her insight internationally as a speaker and believes that together we can empower each other in expanding perspectives and changing how we serve individuals who have experienced trauma.
Patty has graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s in Biblical Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling with a specialization in Life Coaching. Patty is a Certified and licensed as a HeartMath coach and trainer. She is Certified as a Mental Health Coach, Christian D.I.S.C., Facilitator in Relationship Coaching, and Leadership Coaching. Patty is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and The Institute of Coaching at McLean, Harvard Medical School Affiliate.
Patty has over 15 years of experience coaching women in professional and leadership development. She has served as a consultant for anti-trafficking organizations and ministries, and as a life coach for survivors at a safe home. Patty also works with other restorative practices such as Equine Guided Coaching and Faith Based Equine Guided Learning. For the last four years Patty has volunteered and currently works at a non-profit organization with survivors in personal and professional development through coaching, mentoring and facilitating discussion groups focused on economic empowerment and skill building, helping survivors discover what is next in rebuilding their lives.
