Emma Marie
Emma is a program day coordinator for a mental health agency in VA. Previously she worked at an agency that helped care for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking. She received her degree in psychology with a cognitive in crisis counseling from Liberty University and is currently working towards a graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling. She spends much of her time dedicated to her family and serving the mental health community. A key focus of her life is to help in the area of family reunify. She hopes to help by removing the stigmas that victims of sex trafficking and their families often live with. She offers support to victims and their families so that they can heal after such trauma, she firsthand understands the pain and suffering that comes from crimes of this magnitude. She is also fighting to put mandatory prevention programs in Virginia public school system over the entire state
