Elizabeth Ameling is the Founder & Executive Director of Latisha's House. With over 15 years of experience, Elizabeth works with women who are at risk and who have been victims of sexual exploitation. Mrs. Ameling also participates in stings with law enforcement; she works closely with victim advocates including from the Attorney General's Office, Homeland Security, the FBI, local police, and anti-trafficking organizations. As a certified traumatologist by the Center for Trauma Studies at Regent University, and the American Green Cross she brings a trauma informed approach to victims of sex trafficking, and to members of the community in her trainings and public awareness talks.
Elizabeth is a twin, married to Jeff and has three grown children. A classical music lover at heart, with a major in music, she has perfect pitch and plays the piano beautifully. She often finds herself on the piano at Latisha's House, finding salvation by playing her part in therapeutic music for the women. She opened another house in Florida and with your support doesn't plan on stopping there.
