Gequetta "G." Murray-Key
Gequetta "G." Murray-Key, has worked in Corrections for over 10 years and serves as the Chief of Operations at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail. In her role currently responsible for the following: Internal Affairs, Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Coordinator as well as a PREA Auditor certified through DOJ, Video Court, Inmate Hearings, Records, Laundry, Canteen, Accreditation, Custodian of Records and the agency's Public Information Officer (PIO). She is an adjunct professor in the Criminal Justice Program at Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC). She also is part of the Charlottesville/Albemarle Human Trafficking Task Force. In her spare time she sings lead in a Gospel/R&B band, likes to go fishing, watch crime shows, play Super Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt (the original Nintendo video games) and volunteers extensively in her community because she loves bridging people together.
